This collection is inspired by my daughter who has been obsessed with the colour purple since she was 1 year old. Now 3.5 and still loving it, so I had quite some time to start loving it and including it in my paintings.As we made some purple salt dough doughnuts with white paint on top and rainbow rice sprinkles, I thought I could incorporate this colour palette in my work, and this is how my In Love With Purple collection was born.
Viktoria Rodek is a surface pattern designer and mama to a sweet girl.Her mainsource of inspiration is this wonderful little person and their adventures together, nature,folk art and the infinite variation of colors.Her passion isto paint patterns with watercolor and ink, then turning them into repeat is just as much fun for her.She also loves sewing, so never can stop dreaming about designing new fabric collections.
