Homespun fabric is a lightweight fabric made from fine cotton threads. We love to use it for making pillows, or as backers on our applique pieces. It compliments wools & muslin very well by adding a different texture to the piece.
It is normal for color variances & minor inconsistencies to occur. These characteristics contribute to the homespuns overall character & charm. In these fabrics, the yarn is dyed, which means that both sides of the cloth are saturated in color. This lends the fabric a hand-made feel.
