Taffeta is a distinctly crisp, plain woven cloth with a faint weft or filling-way, rib due to the greater number of warp threads than filling threads. It holds its shape far better than most fabrics and its non-stretch quality means it will not sag or drape. Fabulous qualities that come in handy when designing elaborate ball gowns, corsets and interior decorations.

• Please allow up to 10% shrinkage for all fabrics to be on the safe side. For all fabrics wash before making up in the same manner as would with subsequent washes (including drying methods).
