A luxurious, lustrous and glossy silk. This is the 'Rolls Royce' of satins and is sometimes referred to as 'Princess Satin'. Duchess satin usually has a matte finish making it perfect for an elegant couture gown. Although Duchess satin has a firmer handle it is perfect for a garment with a bias cut or full skirt. Not recommended for a figure hugging garment. Available in a wide variety of colours.
