This cloth comes pre-printed with a grid pattern, suitable for a multitude of sashiko designs. The grid pattern washes away when soaked in water. The cloth is a soft fabric having good water absorbency, and the panel becomes softer with washing. Instructions have multiple detailed illustrations and patterns with text in Japanese and English.
