This expertly woven Yorkshire Tweed is created from a superb combination of heavy gauge yarns woven into large-scale chevrons of the herringbone weave. A grounding warp of soft natural sheep fleece white sits perfectly alongside an almost mocha-coffee hue like your first lazy coffee on a Sunday morning before taking a stroll on the wet sands of the seashore.
Call it mocha or taupe this also has the colour of the wet sand between your toes, and light reflections on the rippled sand are almost chevron-like, echoing the herringbone weave. Grey / beige tones are the ideal base for grounding brighter accents so indispensable, be it for bespoke garments or home furnishings!
Lazy Sundays is a closely woven woollen fabric. It has a versatile medium/heavyweight and traditional wool feel thats soft and lustrous too and boasts a stable handle that drapes reassuringly with the promise of cosy warmth. Its the perfect fabric for many sewing room projects - it will always do as its told. Wool of this kind is easy to sew and will stand the test of time. All textile lovers will find many uses for this first-rate chunky herringbone, taking you through A/W and perfectly into early Spring.
