Celebrate timeless craftsmanship with this Handmade Bandhani Skirt Pado, crafted from handwoven Kala cotton by skilled Bandhanara (tie-dye) artisans of Kutch, Gujarat.
The process begins with weaving indigenous Kala cotton on traditional handlooms. The fabric is then meticulously tied using fingernail pinching techniques, creating thousands of tiny bindings. After dyeing, these bindings reveal beautiful, traditional Bandhej patterns.
Each skirt paddu undergoes a slow, labour-intensive handmade process, making every piece truly one of a kind. The breathable nature of Kala cotton ensures all-season comfort, while natural dyeing lends the fabric its rich, earthy character.
Perfect to pair with kurtas, crop tops, or blouses, this skirt paddu reflects a harmonious blend of heritage, sustainability, and contemporary style.

Our Bandhani products are handmade on handwoven Kala cotton by skilled Bandhanara (tying) artisans.
The fabric is carefully pinched and tied using fingernails to create thousands of tiny knots, forming intricate figurative and geometric designs. This entirely handmade process ensures that no two pieces are exactly alike, adding to their artisanal charm.
