Arwetta by Filcolana (Denmark) is a 4 ply worsted spun yarn, made up of 80% long fibred super-wash merino wool and 20% nylon. The nylon content, while synthetic provides the yarn with extra durability which is particularly valuable for sock knitting. The nylon content is a environmentally conscious compromise ensuring the effort that goes into knitting socks with this yarn is paid back in long-lasting wear.
