Recommended fabric
Medium weight woven cloth, 8 - 11 oz denim, cotton canvas, cotton drill, corduroy, yarn dyed linen.
If you are working with a thicker fabric, you might consider using a thinner fabric for the waistband and button fly pieces to minimize bulk.
