Description

The Lichen Duster is an incredibly versatile garment that can be worn in a variety of ways, making it a true capsule wardrobe staple. Whether you choose to wear it as a lightweight coat, a wrap dress, or a robe, the Lichen Duster is sure to become a go-to piece in your wardrobe.

This beautiful garment features a shawl collar, princess seams, and unique pockets, as well as four skirt gores and hand-stitched facings, which all contribute to its unique and sophisticated design. Whether you dress it up or down, the Lichen Duster is a beautiful heirloom piece that is sure to make a statement.

The Lichen Duster can be styled in a variety of ways. It can be worn over dresses and jumpsuits, or paired with jeans and tees for a more casual look. You can use your own belt or the included fabric belt to cinch it in at the waist and create a chic morning-to-evening dress.

It is available in two hem options: a sweeping high-low hem or a straight hem. It is unlined and constructed with front and back facings of the same fabric, which makes it a great option for all-season wear. We recommend mid-weight linen or yarn-dyed cotton for cooler weather, but more advanced sewists can experiment with mid-weight wool or even silk or silk velvet for a more luxurious look.

Fabric Suggestions

Mid-weight linen or yarn-dyed cotton for all-season wear. More advanced sewists can branch out and choose mid-weight wool or even silk or silk velvet.
