Willow Pullover is a cozy sweater worked in an allover basketweave stitch pattern. With a relaxed fitand thoughtful finishing, this sweater is a perfect everyday handknit. Named for the willow because ofits long tradition of use in basket weaving, this sweaters simple drop shoulder construction lets thestitch pattern shine. Working the sweater bottom up allows the knitter to get comfortable working inthe stitch pattern before working decreases and short rows in pattern for the armhole and neck shaping.

This sweater is designed to be worn with approximately 8 in / 20 cm of positive ease at
the full bust and approximately 4 in / 10 cm of positive ease at the upper arm.

All hand dyed yarn is unique and no two skeins will be exactly alike. Please purchase enough yarn to complete your project. Alternating skeins is the best way to prevent possible pooling, flashing or a sudden shift of color. It's easy! Just work 1-2 row stripes from two balls of yarn (carrying the yarn up the side).
