You receive all fabric needed to create your quilt top and binding along with some extra fabric. Fabric pieces in this kit will be cut as 8 inch strips x WOF(this is MORE fabric than the pattern calls for) to give customers wiggle room (which is always a plus for any experience level of quilter). An 8" inch strip will give you extra fabric and also allow for cutting by (LOF length of fabric instead for directional printed fabric (if you choose). You will have plenty of fabric to get your required 12 cuts from each 8 pieces of fabric with this larger cut. The pattern calls for 90 "piano keys"

You can also choose to cut both directions if needed
Backing sold separately. Due to the finished size being so close to the width of standard cotton quilting fabric, it is recommended to complete your project prior to purchasing backing fabric. If you really want your backing fabric now, Angels Neverland recommends purchasing 4 yards of backing fabric. You will have left over fabric for another project. If you are an experienced quilter, 3 yards of fabric may be enough for your project.
