Level Up Your Knitting: Master Cables with a Hat Project
If you have completed the conquering cables workshop and are ready to give your knitting a stylish twist, this class is for you! Cables are the perfect way to add depth, texture, and a touch of elegance to your projectsand theyre much easier than they look!
In this class, you will:
- Learn the Cable Technique Discover how to use a cable needle to cross stitches and create those signature rope-like patterns.
- Practice with Purpose Apply your new skills while knitting a warm, beautifully textured hat from start to finish.
- Build Confidence Understand how to read cable charts, keep track of rows, and maintain even tension for professional-looking results.
By the end, youll not only have a stunning handmade hat but also the skills to add cables to scarves, sweaters, and more.
Prerequisites:
Participants must be familiar with knit and purl stitches and how to knit in the round on double pointed and circular needles. Completion of the Conquering Cables workshop prior to the class is recommended.

Materials required:
- 100g Worsted weight (Weight 4) yarn (150-220 yards/135-200m)
- 4.5 mm circular needle with 40cm (16 inch) cord
- 3.5 mm circular needle with 40cm (16 inch) cord
- 4.5 mm double pointed needles
- Cable needle
- 10 stitch markers
- Darning needle
- Scissors
